Before you goSevere turbulence downwind of the large tree at the foot of the hill has caused two serious accidents in recent years, so give it a wide berth.
A smooth east-facing slope on a NNE through E, soarable along its length.
Members and reciprocals only; a CP must keep to local flights.
A clean slope clear of obstructions, shallower toward the bottom; launch anywhere along it.
Top land inside the boundary but off the downwind half of launch, away from the back hedge. Bottom land the top half of the marked area when no cattle are next door.
Southampton airspace caps it at 3,000ft, so carry GPS and an airspace alarm.
Off the A3(M) to Clanfield, then East Meon and Warnford; designated parking 100m south of the gates, off the road.
