Before you goThe bottom fields are private and the duty field changes with the crop, so confirm the day's field with the farmer before you fly.
Works NNW round to NE along a steep ridge with three bowls.
CP plus ten hours, unless a coach agrees otherwise.
Launch from the middle of the first bowl, away from the trees and model fliers, and turn east along the ridge.
Top land on the ridge clear of footpaths; paragliders can use the eastern spur. Bottom fields are private, confirm the duty field daily.
From the A3(M) take the B2146 then B2141 to the NT Harting Down car park; pay by Ringo.
A rough launch in strong wind gets turbulent, and the reverse slope behind the landing throws low-level turbulence. Power lines cross most bottom fields, and slope landings are unwise among the trees and footpaths.
