Is it your level?Paragliding

From the parking area, go through the gate and pick the easiest line in a south easterly direction across rough and boggy ground to reach the hill. Either follow a direct line up through the bands of small crags and terraces, or take a slightly less strenuous route up somewhat gentler slopes just to the south, before cutting back across to the a take off area near the high point of the hill. When soarable it is often possible to take off from slightly lower down the hillside.

Getting there

Turn off the A835 at Braemore Junction, 11 miles south of Ullapool, onto the A832 Gairloch coastal road. At 2.5 miles after the junction, just before a bridge where the A832 crosses the Abhainn Cuileig river, there is a rough parking area on the left with room for a couple of cars. Park here, taking care not to obstruct the gate which provides access to the dam and hill track.
