From the parking spot go through the gate and up through the field in a Northerly direction. A track leads up through birch trees past a mobile phone base station and on to bracken covered slopes. Take off is anywhere suitable above the gate/fence

Before you goA rarely flown site with wind directions influenced heavily by the N-S axis of Loch Lomond and rather fickle and unreliable because of this. Worth it for the spectacular views. Best in a stiff ENE breeze when it is possible to soar up the loch side to Tarbet
