Access is via a forestry track that leads up the south side of the hill. Approach along the Ettrick valley. Park at the end of the public road. Do not obstruct the track or gateway. Follow the forestry track up onto the top of Bught Hill then follow quad bike tracks towards Bodesbeck law.

Check NOTAM, CANP essential if flying mid week since this area is used for low flying exercises by military fast jets. Jets often fly along the valley at VERY low levels as they transition into the Yarrow Valley and may even be well below take off.
